Wind Effect On High Rise

The airflow around a high building with considerable heat or vapor generating equipment such as outdoor AC units can be accurately simulated at the design stage to foresee its effect on the surrounding buildings and structures.
Also the geometry of an array of buildings and structures along with the prevailing wind conditions may lead to a 'funneling' effect which could lead to high local wind speeds and thus cause discomfort to pedestrians.
