Ductless Basement Ventilation

Basemnt ventilation systems have been developed to ventilate underground structures such as car parks and tunnels for both carbon monoxide (CO) removals during normal working conditions and extracting smoke during emergency fire situations.
It is imperative that the Basemnt ventilation system for an underground structure is effective in both normal mode ventilation and fire mode ventilation.
Therefore, a number of CFD simulations have to be carried out for a number of design options before an optimal design is obtained for a jet fan ventilation system.
